We used to call each other bean. It was.. bean? will you get some water?
And then him... bean? will you bend over the kitchen table?
It went both ways.... It stemmed from human bean to lover bean to bean.

Honey pot... a rather suggestive pet name... and Hunny Bunnies (spelled as written). I guess he had a thing for sweetness?
In my classroom, the code word for "I love you, you mean a lot to me" is to call someone 'your nerd', as in... Hey, OwlishFox... meet my class... these are my nerds. We all use it!
The BEST pet name I've heard was from an elderly couple... both in their eighties. He always referred to his wife as Neil, and she referred to him as Falaver. As her name was Jane, and his Etienne, I could never figure this out. Finally one day I asked... With a big grin and giggle, Jane explained that the names were "Kneel" and "Fall Over"... I'll leave the connection to your imagination.

I thought you meant animals. My husbands cousin had a cat named Noodle. And my daughter's beloved cat, Ted (The Cat from Hell) had Curfew as a middle name.
My brother calls me Snidely. And when we were dating my husband used to call me Boogie Bear. TG he got over THAT! :o)

I was a pet groomer once and this guy had a small dog name "Wheel Chock". I thought it a little sad, but hilarious!
(Besides the usual stuff, my gf calls me "Sugarfoot".)
