Whenever my female friends get hurt by a guy I feel like making love with them. And not because they're vulnerable but I just want to kiss them all over and make them feel beautiful basically. I've never acted on this urge before and don't think it'd be a good idea if I did. Am I closeted and don't even know it?

No I think that makes you an endearing empathetic friend. If you saw a gorgeous woman walking down the street and thought I'd like to kiss her all over, then you might start thinking you had bi or lesbian tendencies.

There is nothing wrong with that. You just feel bad for them so you just want to make them feel better and wanted. Even if you act on the urges, it's not a bad thing, and you won't be a lesbian. You would just be doing it to help them, not because you personally are doing it for pleasure. Thats very nice of you, your friends are lucky.

Getting involved with someone who is vulnerable isn't fair to them. It's good to be sensitive and compassionate, but draw the line there. Getting intimate with them is just playing with fire, and potentially trashing an otherwise good friendship.

If you were a lesbian you would know it. Don't try to ask others for information on something that is right inside of you. You are the best judge of yourself.

You love your friends and want them to feel better there is nothing wrong with that. If you are thinking your gay ask yourself who you are attracted too.

That or you just seriously hate to see your friends in pain and have lots of empathy!

I vote for the lesbian angle! : ) Not that you can't have empathy as a lesbian, you certainly can. Take care.

I remember feeling that way too when I was young but I am gay and knew that... It really doesn't matter what you, it matters who you are on the inside.

BTW - I think what you are feeling is also compassion.
