They traded the future of their OF away to get Marte. I think Shapiro feels that he must let Marte play at this point, because keeping him in the minors is just going to show what a failure of a trade he made. Sharpiro seems content with letting this just ride out, but he doesn't really have a choice with cheap freaking Dolan as owner.

If your world series hopes were depending on Aaron Boone than your team has a long way to go. Andy Marte will be at 3rd and he will be a ton better than Aaron Boone. I would worry about the Trib pen Borowski can be shaky and the same can be said about Foulke.

If the Indians would like to see happen is that Marte would develop and not strike out so much and be their everyday 3rd basemanbcause when he does hit he can do it with much needed power in their line-up.

they have a super prospect , andy marte who everyone is really high on. He was traded from the redsox to the indians so you know he should be good. 280-30-100

Personally I think they're pretty confident with letting Andy Marte be their 3B. That's my answer anyway. I truly think that at this time he'll be the starting 3B.
