I am also proud to be American, but I am worried for America. A lot of the liberal leadership, is taking the country down the tubes. Don't believe me? Look at the cities, communities, or states with Majority democrats for leaders, and that will speak volumes! I couldn't be proud to be an american, if I was a democrat, sorry. That is just too embarrassing. We all need to vote, and keep on trying our best. It would be wrong to just let it go, and give up on it though.

AI think it is a mixed-up country. It could be nice but it is a bit rough for me. I lived 18 years in America, I mean North America. I am French. I found out that North Americans in general don't like the French very much. I have a beautiful house in Texas and another beautiful house in France. I spend six months in one country and six months in the other.
Happy New Year anyway.

I'm Canadian and I'm glad American are our good neighbours to the south. Yes there is always major criticism of leadership no matter who it is. We finally have a decent prime minister and the opposition is trying find things to put him down about.
We live in pretty good countries and even though the politicians make mistakes at times we don't have to worry about being arrested for speaking our mind or practicing our faith.

I love this country. I thank God every morning that I can go where I want to and when I want to. Some of the most ambitious people in the world are Americans. We work, exercise, take care of our families and for the most part, are willing to help anyone that needs our help. I might add that some of the most beautiful woman and handsome men in the world are from America. Thank God for our country!

Crap, real crap. Lying, cheating, murdering, stealing, drunken, drug abusing lot of psychos. A country that makes most of its money from the tobacco industry--yet allows cigarette smoking in fewer and fewer places--hypocrites. HMOs that let people die--not to mention people who have no health coverage at all.
I don't even want to talk about all the crooked politicians, business people, and rotten-dirty cops--and the secrets withheld by agencies such as the FBI, CIA, Homeland Security (chuckle), etc.
There are much better countries--however, I'm keenly aware that there are countries much worse. God Bless America--please, we really need it.

It's in decline. If we don't stop depending on the idiots that we elect to improve things then we'd better get off our arses and fix it ourselves. We the People and all that.....
