It is sleeveless, hits mid-calf and dips to a low v-neck. I was thinking black strappy heels and a pearl choker, but I want to hear if there are other ideas? I'm going to dinner w/ my man and another couple, then going barhopping downtown. Any ideas would be appreciated. Happy New Years!

I would suggest comfortable heels(there are some out there). Some with not a high heel on them since you will probably be on your feet a lot while bar hopping. Then with a pearl necklace I would probably just suggest a simple necklace maybe a one with a diamond and that is it or just the chain. Just simple. Hope you have a good new year.

Nix on the pearls, if you're wearing a dress in that style pearls are wrong for a low v neck, opt instead for a simple necklace on a chain or no necklace at all. Black strappy heels are perfect, along with slingbacks or mules. Remember to wear appropriate underwear, visible panty lines are a total faux pas. If you decide not to wear a necklace, wear sparkly bangles or something along those lines with a nice flashy ring. Have fun!

chocker necklaces can make your face look bigger (fat in a way).
dpends wether you have a oval thin face0 if you do, lucky you!!
i've heard the guys like chicks in real long necklaces like a chain with something at the end- hang below the boobs (real long)
black shoes...hmm, maybe thats too much black, especially if you have dark hair too.
id stick with the idea of high strappy heels. try silver or red with red accesories.

that sounds adorable! the pear necklace will add the perfect touch. that is classic and will never go out of style fthey would be cute and more comfortable. but the heel would work. so have fun and happy new year!

Everything except the pearl choker...I vote for a choker but not pearl...unless it is black pearl or onyx....you want something glitzy but tasteful...a simple diamond pendant would be very chic...have fun.

If it's a v-neck, you need to wear a longer necklace. Maybe you could add cute shoes in a bright color to add a little pizzaz. Have fun!
