Its prewired for XM all you need to do issign up for service and you can get Xm with out installing extra things. Usually when you get a car new they will give you 3 months free, that was the case with my TL and my cousins Element

Well I work for a Nissan dealership and we provide our customers with a choice of XM or SIRIUS Satellite radio. XM radio wired means you have all the components and ready to get the satellite service...easiest way to get this service is to go to Honda dealership where you bought your Honda or which ever dealership is the nearest to you makes no difference. Most all new cars usually have a certain package with this XM/Sirius radio wired ready...you must pay for this service also...If your not interested with XM radio...don't even bother with it...leave it as it is.

It should have a SAT or XM button if it is XM ready. If you press it and it doesn't switch to XM, the vehicle wasn't equipper with that option but you can add the factory XM kit. You may find that the vehicle is even pre-wired for it. (The plug might be on the steering column down by your feet.)

It means you sign up for XM satellite radio, get the receiver and just plug it in, because all the necessary wiring is installed from the factory..
