In some ways because you could not judge people by the clothes they wear, and you could not seperate from social classes as easy, but at the same time, they are called privets for a reason and should be kept privet, you want to see the 800lbs woman naked, i know i don't...

What if a woman was going around naked, and got her period. Would you really want to see blood dripping from her nether regions? Would you really want to see old peoples wrinkly a s ses? Not me on both.
