Well Zara Phillips, a girl who has had every form of luxury - from the moment she was born - and for every second of her existence, competes in a sport where - above all things having access to facilities, and brilliant coaches and money count, and the horse does all the work, wins a MBE.
Nicole Cooke - spends all her life cycling in the wind and rain of wales, with her dad as coach and gets nothing (even though she is the best female cyclist in the world).
It is simply pathetic.

I can't decide who is more worthy... Mike Baldwin for acting the role of a knicker factory boss for 20 odd years or the old lady who has worked in the same chippy since 1923 and is 98 now and still working there!!! Since when was working in a chippy a job to brag about, let alone not having the get up and go to look for a better job in 83 years??!!
Step aside old lady and give one of those ASBO Hoodies the chance to earn some corn!!

Of course it is. I wonder how much they paid to be on it this year -presumably the price has gone up as they're on the watch for it now. That is if they've thought up a new scam to get through the loopholes, a couple of years ago it was 'loans' instead of donations, perhaps it will be 'I'm just going to keep my money in your bank account for safe keeping, and if you feel like giving me a peerage - well, who'd know?' this year.
