I certainly hope not, for that is not the kind of behavior I would expect to come from a person who has any notion of who really is The Prince of Peace. .

The President has never personally cleared up the issue of what religion he practices. Although many people assume he is Evangelical and/or a born-again Christian.
Evangelicalism is a type of worship that is not in a set of beliefs. But core to many evangelicals’ identity is the “born-again” experience described in John 3:3. It is described as when a sinner undergoes an extreme and sudden conversion after going through a personal interaction with the Holy Spirit. Often this is told to be with Jesus Himself.
Although I do not believe this, it is still a fascinating style of worship. Especially since many born-again Christians are convinced by their parents to say that this is true, it seems that most Evangelicals are liars. No one can be convinced into having such an experience, so it is a sin to pronounce such. What a strange thing to do!
Although none of this has cleared up the issue at hand, there is no way to. Since Bush has not said whether or not he is Evangelical, there is no way to tell for sure.
If it will help, a poll I managed to get my hands on said this:

Do you believe George W. Bush has been born again?

If George W. Bush were a "born again Christian"
(spelled with an S), he would not have lied to Congress about "weapons of mass destruction." Lying is not something Christians do. "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor."
He would not have sent 3,000 American troops to their deaths, over 100,000 Iraqis, and Saddam Husein. The New Testament states "Do good unto those who dispitefully use you." That is a Christian commandment, not Donald Rumsfield's "shock and awe."

That question is between President Bush and God
But he has confessed the Lord Jesus with his mouth and I for one feel that is a good sign that he is a Christian. I don't recall the exact verse but it says something along the lines of 'believe in your heart and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus"
Who can know if he believes in his heart, but I shall give him the benifit of the doubt (not that my opinion matters much)

Yes, I think he is.
When someone accepts Jesus Christ, it doesn't mean that they become instantly perfect or that they never make a mistake.
