You should go to the doctor. When you miscarry blood and tissue from the pregnancy can stay inside the uterus and cause an infection. You need to get a curette to clean it out. If you dont there are chances you can get sick.

Go to your Gyno and ask about it.

You can have a miscarriage naturally (without a d&c) but you really need to go to the doctor to make sure no tissue is left behind because it can cause severe bleeding. Here is a piece of an article about miscarriages(website below):

What treatment is needed if a woman has a miscarriage?
Most women who have an early miscarriage do not need treatment. The uterus empties itself like a heavy period. However, a doctor may recommend a D&C in certain cases, such as if a woman is bleeding heavily or may have an infection, or if an ultrasound examination shows that there is tissue remaining in the uterus (which can lead to heavy bleeding).

Well, you might not have had a miscarriage. Often women may have excessive periods and think they are miscarriages.
Or you might have part-miscarried and still have some fragments left behind.
Or you might have complications after - infection, ongoing bleeding, shock etc.
Or you might need counselling if it upset you.
You'll most likely survive a miscarriage without a doctor, but it would be so much better to get checked out and make sure you are okay

You need to go the doctor to have your blood typed. If you are blood type Rh negative (O-, A-, B-, or AB-) then it is very important to have a Rhogam injection after a miscarriage to prevent problems with future pregnancies.

You should also go to the doctor if you begin to run a fever or have severe pain. You might need an antibiotic.

Finally, you should go to the doctor if you are bleeding heavily or for a prolonged length of time. You could need a D&C to remove residual fetal tissue from your uterus.

u'll have a strong strong period, and bleed a lot more. i think u should go to the doctor cuz they will remove the remaining tissue, (and the unliving baby)..and afterwards give u a strong drug that helps with the pain but ull have to deal with the grief. sorry it happened, if it has happened. but getting help is a lil better. i had one bac n march. im over it. but the pain of not having my baby will still be there. good luck. email me if u need anything. chica1aare@yahoo.com im 15 by tha way. best wishes

Just monitor your temperature, if you run a fever see a doctor.

Also if you feel faint or weak see a doctor.

Otherwise if you see a doctor they will want to do a D&C which has more risks than miscarrying naturally.

However, if you are rh- and your partener is rh+ then you need to have a shot of winRho and should go to a doctor/ER

As long as all of the fetal tissue was expelled, then nothing.
But it's hard to be sure, so go to the doc. The ER is cheaper, if you have no insurance.

i think your body will naturally heal itself because not much damage is done to the mother, but there could be other complications. its best to go to a doctor
