Can you say:

---AFTERMARKET---

Seriously, replacing the seats you have with a seat that fits you, supports you, and is adjustable for different driving situations is one of the best investments anyone who drives a lot could possible make. Have a look at some of the upper end, well padded, racing seats. There is nothing better than sex, but a seat with good lateral support can come close after 14 or 15 hours behind the wheel.

BTW, even if they are a bit pricey, they are still less than a new car and if you keep the old seats you can put them back and keep your custom ones for your next car.

Been there, done that.

Swedish cars have a reputation for the most comfortable seat and with good reason.

Buick is great if you want mush. If you want a seat designed by an orthopedic doctor that is comfortable after 8+ hours of driving then Volvo and Saab should be on your list.

Comfort is a personal thing. A car that I think is comfortable may actually be uncomfortable for you. A lot depends on your size and your body shape.

Pick several vehicles that you like, and rent each one for a week. Use them for your normal travel. See what feels best to you!

Good luck!

Buick LaCrosse if you like something sort of "stodgey."
If you want more of a cushion, check out the Tempurpedic types of products - you could put that on any seat cushion.

you realize that you could just go down to the auto store and buy some nice seats and put them into your old car that'd probably be a lot cheaper
