I would think "How nice that she remembered us!" Lots of people don't get around to sending Christmas cards for all kinds of reasons. I think most people appreciate it when others remember them, no matter what the occasion. I think a New Year's card is more special because there will be fewer of them, and so they will be more memorable.

Sorry-- but you've absolutely blown it !!!
Now, none of your friends will have anything to do with you and you'll become a social outcast with no friends and be destined to live out your life in solitude and misery !! Since all your friends are SO shallow as to hold not getting a Christmas card from you as being the ultimate test of a friendship----your goose is cooked and --- the jig is up----no more friends ---and not only that--- the word will get out about you--- your name will spread far and wide as someone that does not send cards at the right time--- service clubs and organizations will refuse you membership---and---I'm surprised that Yahoo hasn't already contacted you to get the key for This site back !!!
Sorry this had to come from me---but someone had to tell you the hard truths---and --- it was nice knowing you --- and I do wish you luck now that your destined to become a Street Person with one of those push cart thingys----I'll hand you a dollar or two if I see you to help out---but don't let anyone know---I don't want to get associated socially with a Street Person or I might wind up on the discard list myself and have to come live with you in your pasteboard box !!!!!!!
Happy New Year Anyway !!!!!!!!

Definitely! I love sending Christmas cards and usually send them out after the 25th (even into the New Year). It seems like I have more time to do it then and my friends and relatives have more time to enjoy the note that I personally write on each card.

I have sent a New Year's card instead if I forgot to send one to someone that sent me one. If I got one I would think it was nice of that person to wish me a Happy New Year!

Better a NY card than no card at all. I would be happy to get one.

Yes, I've done it before. I think most people would be really glad to hear from you no matter when it was.
