I am confused as to why the last button hole is horizontal as opposed to vertical like the rest. Can someone please explain.

nice Q, THE Answer is simple. The Last Button with H will normally not Open as easily then the UPPER V buttons. the chances of your SHIRT remaining Open if the buttons loosen up at the top ( normally in case of FAT persons getting fatter ) will be rare and you will be still covered

On the day that THAT shirt was made
the factory was recovering from a Major Office party the night before and the machine operator and the quality control people were ALL suffering from hangovers !!!!
