I can't brag on virtual earth very much. It may only be me but I can't seem to get what I want out of the process. Now Google Earth on the other hand, is very satisfactory as far as I am concerned. I was able to find my home, tell that the picture had been taken since we installed the air conditioning and by looking down the street at my brothers house I could tell his red mustang was parked on the street. A very unusual occurrence.
You should know that I am in a an area of reasonably high resolution. I tried to locate the house I was born in and it was a complete failure. That's the difference between living in a State Capitol, and trying to find a town of 5000 in the hills of West Virginia.
Anyway, give it a try, it does require you load some software but you can have the same level as I do and it is free. There is higher resolution available for a price.
Good luck, it's fun.

well i have to admit that i'm not particularly interested in seeing what your house looks like.....sorry
i'm sorry mate i misinterpreted the question. If you yourself would like to attempt to see your own house from space search for globe xplorer, something along those lines. You should be able to enter your address and get a grainy, outdate photo of your house....goodluck

There is a website where you can see your home, however it is not available in some locations.
I think it's a satellite image but I'm not sure. I just know it's called virtual earth. I'm not sure how it works now as I haven't used it in months, but it is pretty cool.
The link is: http://virtualearth.msn.com

google earth.
It provides a map of the Earth made up of satellite photos. In some areas, the resolution is fine enough to see individual houses. However, the resolution is not sufficient everywhere. It depends where your house is.

The source below will work for North America. It will also give you the market value of your house.
