I have never been alone before but my boyfriend dumped me x-mas eve and I feel so pathetic and alone. I wanna get outta here before I do something stupid to myself....

No I don't think it's patetic to go to the movies alone.What's patetic is that you have the nerve to feel bad,Listen you pull yourself up by your own gootstraps and go wherever you want to go with your "Head"up high.Hey who says you have to go to the movies go somewhere else where there is a lot of people go to the circus or a carnival hey the Mall is fun too.Some towns have a movie theature in the Mall.If that dosen't work then go to a concert.(musical)Have fun and don't forget the only happiness you can and will have is that you have to like yourself first.Remember You are Special to yourself say that over and over and that is not being stuck up it's being sure of yourself.Good Luck

Only if it's a crap movie. It's fine...enjoy. Now that I have kids I wish I could do that but I can't...lol
Edit: In that case it will do you a world of good and make you stronger. I hope next year is your best year ever and you just unloaded the junk that was holding you back.

No, I think it's a smart thing to do if you want to see the movie. At least you don't have to worry about making sure another person has a good time.

Of course not. I have been happy and contented going to places at times by myself. Everything depends on how we view things. You can be alone and still be happy.
