I'm in college for my general requirements right now.
I have an idea about what I want to take my studies
up in, but I'm not completely sure that's what I want
to major in. So if anyone would be so helpful in giving
me an idea of which grad degrees make the most
money it would sure be a lot of help.

It doesn't really depend on the degree, but on the person. There are dirt poor people with Ph.D's and wealthy people with no degrees.

Of course, the degree does help the wealth though. But you shouldn't do it for money. Life isn't worth doing something for a living that doesn't interest or excite you.

A high school teacher of mine always said, besides playing golf all day, teaching is what he would want to do. Ask yourself that first, before you question how much money you will make... ask yourself how you want to spend your working day. Do you want to deal with people, play with technology, sit at a desk, travel?

Just remember, people do not always pursue the field they majored in. You will be better off finding a way to profit from what you enjoy than trying to enjoy whatever is most profitable...

I was in your position a couple years ago, and now I'm applying to grad school to become a speech pathologist... that is one thing you might want to consider: do you want to invest in grad school? Many more professions are beginning to require it.

A J.D. :) You will never go wrong w/ this degree and can pursue many career options even if you do not want to be a lawyer. Law school is hard, but well worth the 3 years of stress and headaches!

MD and DVM from any school.

MBAs and JDs from top schools do well -- but if they don't go to a top school, it doesn't do as much for them.

Graduate degrees in engineering generally increase pay as well.
