This question is like asking where in the body the soul is located.

For certain we all have an ego, whether it is healthy or not....

But the brain is comprised of the Brainstem, Occipital Lobe, Temporal Lobes, Pariatel Lobes, Cerebellum, Cortex,Corpus Callosum, Basal Ganglia, and Frontal Lobe if I remember correctly........

The ego rests somewhere else within you alongside the Id, the Superego and a craving for chocolate ! ~.o

Also, the ego is really a theory... Freud tried to explain why we do what we do not because it's just some random acts, but because of all our past experiences- and that big ball of past memories mixed with biological yearnings, Freud called an 'ego'- he never saw an ego or discovered it, he coined the word to discribe a mental framwork he believed we all have.

The ego is just a theoretical construct. It's conceptualized as sort of the CEO of the human psyche. It has not been localized to a specific part off the brain, as far as I know.
