When I was about to eat dinner tonight I grabbed what I thought was a clean plate. When I looked down at the plate there were about 8 little white bugs on it (about 3mm long) they looked like maggots but they had little tiny legs. I keep my little basement apartment very clean. Needles to say I am totally grossed out and I couldn't eat dinner. What do I do?

In that cupboard is there any food in the cupboard besides the dishes, by food I'm talking oatmeal,cereal,flour, if you do it's probably meal worms, and they can be found in any of the above things and more, its very common if these items sit in cupboards for long periods of time.

Since you live in an apartment, I would contact your landlord as soon as possible and notify him/her of the problem. This is something they would want to take care of as soon as possible I'm sure. Good Luck

sounds like it could be termites or silverfish. call an exterminatior and they can properly identify and get rid of them. or you could try bug bombs they work on most any bugs.

Could be meal worm larva. Check you're grain foods.(cereal,oatmeal,flour)
