I received a gift card for my birthday back in September. How long before I can't use it anymore?

some states actually passed laws stating that gift cards can NEVER expire cuz cash was paid.
u can try callin the number on back of the gift card u have to check.

in some states gift cards never expire if they are issued
in that state (like California) all gift cards issue in California
never expire..
otherwise it varies from state to state usually there is information on the back of the card that lets you know

It depends on what store issued the card. Some never expire but others give you a year before it expires. Call the store.

depending on the store. Usually after 12 mos. a fee will be assessed on the balance until the card is no longer valid

I usually is valid until there is no more money on it
