coke. in texas. like we say, do u want a coke? but we dont mean coca cola, like we could ask if u want a coke and bring out a dr. pepper

Soda... and I'm from Cali. West Coast calls it "soda." East Coast calls it "pop."

where i'm from they call it pop but i moved to a place they call it soda and that's what i refer to it as.

generally i call it soda. I dont know about everyone else though, i have heard others call it soda too.

I grew up in Iowa...I live in California and everyone laughs when i say "Pop" soda to me is club soda!!! and we put it in a "sack" not a bag!!!!!

In NY we call it Pop. I have a friend from Boston that calls is Tonic. I have friends on the west coast that call everything Coke. It is a regional thing for sure. GREAT QUESTION.

I say Pop.... as I got older I learn to say
soda are call it by name...pepsi, coke....
I go out of state alot...just like we say gum bands
instead of rubber bands...It's a Pittsburgh thang....smile!
