at the end of october i started using the birth control called the IUD which basically prevents you from having kids for 5 yrs. i got my period in november but not for december, its possible that the birth control could lighten up the period or stop it completely but i got it last month, my husband is convinced that the birth control wont work and thinks im pregnant..what do u think??

Birth control can sometime mess you up. What i would do is wait and see if you get your menstrual this coming month(january) if you do not get in by then try a home pregnancy test.
It could possibly be that you are pregnant bc they say to use the birth control for 3 months with other protection to prevent pregnancy so it might not have had time to get into your system good. so i hope the best in whatever you are wanting.

It is suggested that you wait at least 2 months before having unprotected sex when starting a new birth control because they aren't fully effective yet. So there is a good chance that you might be pregnant. I would suggest taking a home pregnancy test or going in to see your doctor. Hope this helps and good luck.

I think you should take a pregnancy test. NO birth control is 100% effective (barring abstinence).
