Do you guys know what club penguin is?

my little daughter plays that game club penguin and wants a membership. What is so good about a membership. Your supposed to pay 60 dollars but what do you do? My husband let her have it last year but it expired. Should i let her do it again or do you think it is a waste. I don't have problem spending the money but I don't know what is so good about it. Also is it safe or not. Thanks if you answered.

Every mom wants the best for thier child but its not always easy making the right choices... I have played club penguin it is not the safest game because anyone can play and personally your daughter's safty can never be too safe. The game is a virtual reality game that can be played by ANYONE. That the scary part, your daughter is young and probably doesnt know what the real world is all about. But you as a mother do and it is up to you to make sure you and your daughter know's exactly what your getting yourself's into. My best advice is for you to play the game and see for yourseld if this game is what you want your daughter playing and will she be responsible enough to give any personal information about herself! Your daughter may not except the fact that you wont let her play this game, if you dicide not to let her play the game but at the end its your daughter's safty were talking about. You don't pay 60! It's only like, $5 or 9$ a month. Something like that but in the membership, you can buy clothes and do missions and stuff. I had the membership and personally, don't really think it is worth it. Good luck making your descision! But you should really check out the club penguin website or contact them. Hope I helped! =)

I pay $30 dollars for 6 months and it is safe. This is my second membership and i still like clubpenguin. If you daughter gets tired of playing clubpenguin i say you should get a $5 membership because it gets renewed every month [every month you pay $5] then you can quit it by going to your account.

Its not perfectly safe because the membership you have there are lots of hackers out there you can hack your daughter's account and find personal info like your real name and address and maybe a phone number. They are serious about money so the hackers can't get your credit card number. Thats all I have to say.

Yea my little brother and sister (they are twins) they play that game to. It's like you walk around and make friends and talk to them. If you are a member you get to buy clothes and decorate your igloo and stuff like that. But if you are not you can't decorate or buy. My sibling recently got a membership because i remember my dad giving them both sixty dollars to buy a membership. It isn't a waste as long as your child uses it if she doesn't play often there is no point. It is safe because they have word filters that monitor everything you say. Here is the website.

You don't have to pay for it, you can have a free membership, you just don't get all the perks of dressing your penguin, having an igloo etc. You basically play games as your penguin, buy clothes and dress it up, get pets for it and buy things for your igloo and talk to other players, and make friends.
