From Michigan and plan on being in Grand Rapids rather if I can get close or not means nothing to me. Being in the town will make me even more Proud to be standing as an American. God Bless the Gerald Ford Family.

I am STILL watching (out of Grand Rapids)...my heart is breaking for Mrs. Ford and the entire family....You are wrong about Francesca--she is LOWER than scum...

I didn't watch it. I was born in 1978; thus have no special memories of Ford. Not that I feel I would anyway. Let's just say that I disagree with quite a bit of his decisions and politics.

Nevertheless, it is a poignant thing, the death of a president.

No, I'm not watching it. I can't get over everyone saying that he had such great integrity, this is the guy who pardoned Tricky Dicky as his first agenda after he was sworn in. His wife Betty has my sympathy,for I think she outshone her husband by a mile.

who's funeral? everyone is too busy watching Saddam being executed. Noone has any time for that old fart - expecially one who made up a stupid story about a magic bullet, and who let the tricky traitor off the hook with a pardon when he should have been jailed.

I have no time for people who tell lies, past present or future.
So far that has included every president since Kennedy!!!
