Exercising will not make it end quicker or make it longer. Exercise is good for cramps though. There are some new meds out there to make the time between periods a little longer. Talk to your doc or obgyn. I've never used them, but know someone who does and she swears by them. Says it even has helped her cramping. Good luck!

I'm not usre if it will end quicker or take longer to end, but i DO know that it should relieve your pain/cramps and make your period more tolerable.

Exercise doesn't change the length of a period, if it's long it will stay long and if it's short it will still be short. But as many of them have mentioned muscle movement helps with cramps and other symptoms. If it doesn't help with those there is always Midol.

It doesn't affect your period at all. It will relieve some symptoms such as cramps, and bloating, but exercising on your period is healthy as well. The only thing that makes your period shorter is birth control that makes your period last for two days.

it doesn't affect the length of your period, but it does however help the cramps. no joke when you are on your period and working out, after like 10 minutes you have no more cramps. try eating dark chocolate too, that helps a little bit but not as much

I don't think the exercise makes a difference, however if you are prone to cramps, exercise before and during can help lessen the cramps

Honestly I exercise religiously on my period or not, all it does is cause your heart to beat faster so therefor you blood flows faster. It does help with cramps though.
