I smoke, have a shower, watch a movie, sit in my room and sulk, sleep, listen to music, go for a drive, read, hang out on Y!A, go to the gym, talk to someone close to me, try to solve the problem, drink coffee...
The main thing i do is just get in my car and drive while listening to music. I blast it. I drive until i can't remember why i was angry... until i don't feel anything at all.

It really depends on what has put me in that mood to begin with. I do admit that I snap at the people around me at times, because what I really need at a time like that is just some space. Some time to myself and a few minutes to calm down. Then I'll come back to the people who care about me and I'll be okay. There are other times when all it takes to calm me down are the patient words of my best friend. Whenever I want to be alone, he's the only person I really want to talk to, because sometimes I just need to vent, and he's the one I usually vent to because of his quiet and patient nature.
I tend to rage first and then act rationally, which I know is not the right way to do things, but that's me, for better or worse.

I remove my horrible mood chip and insert my happy chip. Danger Will Robinson Danger! I release my anger by opening the oil release on my mid-section.

Weather permitting, I hit the batting cages and get medieval on some baseballs for awhile. I will also go to the gym and play until I forget the world around me. Just like a little kid.

I usually punch things, but I know that's not healthy, so I've created a relaxing mix on my iTunes, and take a 15 min power nap. After that I try to go do something to get my mind off of what's frustrating me.

I cherry-pick the best and loudest of my music - Pantera, Metallica, Evanescence, that kind of thing...slap it in my portable CD and walk...walk my already little legs into stumps, often, it has to be said, gesticulating wildly and growling along with the music, to the consternation of passers-by.
Nothing like pouring all that into the music of fire and rage and going out to scare the natives :oD

I play Air Strike 3-D, an attack helicopter game, and I swear by it. Once you hear the explosions and see the devastation and everything blowing up on the screen and your machine guns firing like crazy you will vent all rage and frustration.

I think it over for a couple of days. By that time I usually come to the conclusion that the thing that tended to bother me isn't worth thinking about.
