If you got it new follow the manuel.No manuel go to the singer site,they quite often have them on line(you may need a reader).Call singer and get a manuel-it will have detailed instructions -how to thread the machine and what your stitch should LOOK like when done properly.Or just go to the store that sells singer and explain -most people are good that way,and will help.Most thread the same way-slight differences.If that is the only trouble your having go to the store and ask.

You can always contact the Singer company directly and they should be able to send you a copy of the users manual. There are also many websites you can go to buy them.
