He deserved it !!!

He and his sons have killed so many people during his regime. And all because they didn't do EVERYTHING he said. He even searched his own family for guns when they would come to visit him. I mean geez, this man was like the reincarnation of Hitler and everyone is in an uproar about his hanging. The S.O.B. deserved a lot worse. He should have been pulled out of office long ago.

And people fuss about Bush sending troops over to Iraq. Yes, I know that he has made a lot of mistakes in this war, the biggest one is letting it become so freaking political, but he HAD to go over there. Look at the facts. Look at all the people that Saddam killed just because he didn't like them, I mean HUNDREDS of people. If he even had the THOUGHT of having nuclear weapons in his head it was enough to go over thre initially. If he ever had gotten his hands on that technology do you know what the first thing he would have done with it would have been? Nuke America, no questions asked. He was insane, and a murderer, he wouldn't have thought twice. So while I may not back up everything that the idiot in office has done over there, I am glad he went in the first place.

Good riddence to the S.O.B.

I feel sad for the Iraqui people that are going to die behind the increased violence this hanging will bring. I can not bring myself to be happy when any life is taken even though he was a horrible man there are many more like him why only him? I also feel for the families of those whose lives he took but how many more innocents must die

I'm Canadian and we don't do capital punishment. So, I am unsure. I didn't follow any news about the guy, so I wouldn't know anyways. But, compared to being in a jail cell his whole life, death may be a breath of fresh air for him. I don't know.

I think all dictators should end like that. Nobody can mess with other people's lives and get away without a punishment. And he was un untreatable nuts... he couldn't be changed...

If George Bush, Sr., had killed him when he had the opportunity during his presidency, all of this would have been avoided. Saddam's hanging is anti-climactic as far as I'm concerned.

I think they could have done a lot worse to him if they had put some effort into it. They should have put some extra effort into it. I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who feels this way .

That the U.S. shouldn't act like it is superior to anyone now and that we never belonged in Iraq for any reason at any time so it's none of our business.

bush is killing innocent people too, but he won't be hanged

saddam deserved to die, but it won't stop terrorism obviously. it won't do any more good than letting him live in a cell. the insurgents in iraq don't care if they die either, they're going to keep fighting.

The video of it sucked. It didn't show him die.
