Sweetie, tell your mother. This is more traumatic than you realize. You are going to need her, no matter what decision you make. She will still love you. I promise. This isn't an issue of what is legal and what isn't. This is an issue of what is best for you. (My heart is breaking for you. E-mail me if you want. I have a daughter your age exactly, so I can relate.)

Yes, you can. Washington state does not require minors to have parental consent. However, if you feel that you can't trust your parents, is there another family member or maybe a friend's mom that you can trust? It doesn't matter if you get an abortion or choose to continue the pregnancy, there is a chance of complications either way. Someone needs to know, so they can help you if complications do arise.
If you do choose to go to ahead, please remember that you must have it before 23.5 weeks. If you need help financially, you can go to the ( http://www1.dshs.wa.gov/ )DSHS to request ( http://www1.dshs.wa.gov/basicneeds/ )medical assistance. You might also want to check out your local Planned Parenthood, since a fair number operate on a sliding fee scale and they also offer prenatal care and birth control. You also need to get to a doctor as soon as possible, because sometimes you can get pregnant in one of your tubes, which can kill you if left undiagnosed.
Whatever you choose, remember that your choice is something you have to live with. No one else can make this choice for you, but there are people willing to help you should choose abortion, adoption, or to keep it. All you need to do is let them know you need help.

No, you need to inform your rents before doing it i believe, but i seriously feel you should not have one. First off, i have heard abortions can be quite painful, and second, sometimes after having one it is harder to get pregnant again, so when you are older, and want a kid, you may not have such and easy time doing it. You should just put the kid up for adoption, you won't have to live with any guilt that may or may not inflict you, and the baby has a chance of a good life.

You need to tell your parents, be a adult about it. Anything could go wrong during a abortion, you could end up in serious condition. At 16, you are a minor, parents signature is needed. Besides if you do want it for what ever reason, consider adoption and make some childless couple happy. Main thing is, talk at least to your mom, then you both talk to your dad. Be sure, once it is done, it is to late. I will be praying for you.

Abortion is wrong, it is murder. Did you ever think of adoption. You might as well get it over with and tell your parents, save yourself alot of unnecessary heartache because your parents will know sooner or later. They might get mad or be upset, but thats only because they care and you put yourself in a situation that hurts you. You made a mistake, but we all do. Don't add to your troubles by having an abortion. The guilt will eat you up and you'll suffer more if you have an abortion.

Why kill your baby because you don't want it. You can always carry it full term then put it up for adoption. If you don't want to tell your parents, go to a pro-life center and they will help you.
I was 17 when I got pregnant but I did what I needed to do and now my daughter is 11 and life is great......and we are happy. You can get through it, you just need help to get through.
IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE SEX THEN DON'T START. IMAGINE IF YOU DID GET PREGNANT.....ABORTION IS NOT THE EASY WAY OUT. Don't let him pressure you into sex if you're not ready. He wouldn't be there for you if something happened, even if he said he would. Be smart!

OK well you cant have an abortion without parental consent and 2 you're killing a child...people like you have no right to do it and its seems like you are not responsible to be having sex and you seem really stupid because you didn't use protection.I'm 16 and i know more about sex then you apparently. you're just one of the examples that shows how stupid some teenagers can be.

omg, dont you people think this kid has enough to worry about and on her plate than having a bunch of santimonious people on a pulpit yelling at her and damning her to hell.
guess what.
it is her decision. it is her life. she has to live with this. not you.
i do however suggest that you go and see a counselor. thi sis a huge life changing situation you find yourself in. you need to t hink about all the options and reprecussions, and a counselor will be able to help walk you through this so you make the best decison for you.
i do also think that once you have made your decision, or sought some counseling, that you should talk wiht your parents.
if you are old enough to be having sex, you should be old enough to be a grown up and speak with your parents.

You did the deed, now tell your parents and face the music. My advice to you, in this day and age birth control is a easily attainable item. GET IT!!! Abortion should never be a means of birth control. Better yet my advice to you, and I've said this to many a young girl. When on a date with a boy, keep a nickel between your knees.

I dont agree with your decision but I will not judge you for it. I agree with what Lori K said. tell you're mom... I'm pretty sure it's illegal in every state when you're a minor but that's not my point. You really need to talk to your mom or maybe an aunt that you can trust. I am very sorry for your situation... this is a hard decision no matter what you're age is. And dont pay any attention to those people who are posting mean comments.

Abortion is a big thing. You cant do this alone, you have to tell your mom, Im sure she will eventually understand. If you have this abortion maybe you will regret it for the rest of your life, because you would be killing a baby. I have a friend who had an abortion 2 years ago and she's still depressed. Think about it, talk to you mom.
