Ugh, this because it can be so frustrating! I called them up once 45 minutes after the 30 minutes that they were suppose to deliver it, I called them up and told them how unhappy I was and that my kids were starving, yada ya. The guy took off 1/2 the price of my total bill AND i got a 20 $ gift card for the inconvience!

I'm a manager at a Papa John's. We get scammed for free food ALL the time. Even when the store is run at its best, mistakes and mishaps still happen. Some things are just out of our control. If we do make a mistake, we're more than happy to send out a new pizza or offer a credit for the next time. What people don't seem to understand is this...if you call to complain we will be MUCH more generous and helpful if you're polite or just simply nice. Calling us yelling, cussing, and not being satisfied with anything we offer isn't going to get you anywhere. There have even been incidents when a customer has called and we KNEW for a fact that they were just trying to scam us to get free food...but they were very polite and nice, so they got free stuff. If something was incorrect, just call the store and ask for the manager. Politely and calmly explain your situation...then ask for a replacement, refund, or credit. I'm sure you shouldn't have any problems getting what you want.

I ordered 2 pizzas from Round Table. The driver came in about 35 minutes, kinda quickly. But with 2 of the wrong pizzas. I called his manager, while he was there. And we were able to keep the 2 wrong pizzas and were brought the 2 we originally ordered. All at no charge.

If a pizza shows up cold or incorrect, I simply refuse to pay for it. Pizza around here is expensive and there's really no excuse for that.

I would call up the place you ordered the pizza from and ask to speak to the manager. Be polite, but explain the problem you have with your order. My husband used to be a manager at a restaurant and most places will compensate the inconvenience to their customers.

Good luck!

Quit asking about getting free food! You're just trying to make false complaints so you can get free food.

Make a big ruckus of how you were so hungry and you waited so long to eat, and when you finally got it the experience was awful, most likely they will be happy to service you because they don't want a bad reputation or bad publicity.
