What should i wear to a middle school dance?
my school(& all the private schools around) is always invited 2 this other school, LSI (an all guys school) dances. My friends & i r in 7th grade this is the 1st yr we could go. we went 2 1 in nov & had a blast but no guys asked any of us 2 dance. i'll b 13 in a coupla weeks rite b4 the dance. im not sure what 2 wear. canu ppl please help with ideas!! money is no an issue as i said b4 i go 2 a private school. I love abercrombie, A&F, AE, & aeropostale. Please help!!!!

I go to a private all girls school too- our dances seem alot like yours. What you should wear is a cute pair of jeans- your most comfortable/best pair of jeans (the ones that make you look cutest). Then wear a cute tank top. It depends on your school, but they might have a dress code for dances- our shirts had to be at least two fingers and no belly showing for dances-so maybe get a cute tank top. If you're set on wearing a skirt, wear a jean skirt, but it all depends on where you live (a jean skirt in January in Washington, D.C. is not a smart move, as I have learned). On the other hand, don't wear anything too warm- even if it is cold out, its going to be very warm inside- so just wear a jacket. As for shoes, it depends on what is in style- when I was in seventh grade we wore birkenstocks and uggs, but those are a bit out now, so try vans or converses. Definitely no heels, maybe flip flops. As for your hair, wear it straightened and down, but bring a brush in a little purse, because your hair will get messed up. Also bring in the purse some lip gloss, a bit of extra money, and a cellphone).
The not dancing with guys thing is okay- when I was in seventh grade no one danced together- just in a big group. But if you really want to dance, you're going to have to ask the guy- make it a dare if you're not so confident, so you have an excuse. But next year, I promise you guys will ask you to dance. As for accessorie- maybe a cute pair of earings, or a small necklace, but don't go too overboard, because if you have big chunky jewelry, its going to be uncomfortable.

(Any of these shoes will be okay, but dont have any outlandish colors if they dont match your outfit)
For jewelry, maybe a tiffany's necklace or a cute bangle. But, like I said, if its too bulky its going to hit you when you dance and get in the way.
As for makeup, mascara and lip gloss is good, maybe a subtle eye shadow, but otherwise you don't need anything else- your cheeks will turn pink when you get inside, and anything more will look slutty, which is not a look youre going for.

A denim skirt, some wedgies or nice sandals, and a pretty tank top or halter top. Don't go too hoochie cause the guys this age will be all either trying to cop a feel or a look or something. They are really horny and immature at this age. Well, unless you like that sort of thing. I would do your makeup a little more daring than you normally do for school. Mascara and colored lip gloss are a must. Have fun! :) Don't wear perfume that is heavy. Only spray a small amount and make it a fun scent or light fruity one. Nothing too old and flowery and heavy. Guys don't know how to appreciate that type of scent yet :)

Dont dress trashy thats a turnoff for guys or if guys see you they will think your easy. Wear something comfortable like a pair of jeans and a cute tank. Wear a pair of sneakers ( not heels its painfull dancing in heels). Dont wear a skirt either because you will be worrying about it flying up all night instead of having fun. Wear some makeup and have fun!

Some jeans and a nice shirt with some sneakers.Air force 1's or jordans or Fila's or something.The jeans can be just about any type that fits you right.But a apple bottoms shirt or something name brand always makes a nice touch.

wow, lol. i would NEVER wanna go to a private skool! ok well u should probably wear a miniskirt and a tanktop, or a miniskirt and a dressy kinda shirt from Maurice's (if u have one where u live). but just something like that. or if there is like chacha slide dancing, then jeans and a hot tanktop
