I hate most RPGs, but Kingdom Hearts (and Kingdom Hearts II for that matter) is diferent.

simply put kingdom hearts is one of the most ballsiest moves square-enix could ever have made. Disney games for one thing are a hit and miss opportunity. Most hardcore gamers would never give a disney game half a chance, let alone a full out rpg. Square-enix shunned the non-believers and went out there and created a game that not only has one of the best story lines out there, but it has a flowing and easy to use fighting system that anyone could pick up and play. Sora is one of the sweetest main characters and he and his two other team members make a great team together. I could go on about my love for Kingdom hearts 2 but i dont have enought space and days to go on talking about that truly wonderful game.

The Kingdom Hearts series is indeed different. It's a much more interactive game where you are constantly moving and attacking. Pressing and smashing buttons unlike turn-based games that are much more slow paced and not as exciting as KH.
The story is also different for it's unusual "partnership" with Disney. As well as some familiar faces from past Final Fantasy games.
This is a must buy for all RPG fans!

I know what you mean, I love the game! I think that Disney helps make it more fun and cool because games like Final Fantasy are just stories that are about people you really don't know much about. While Kingdom Hearts (yes, I know FF and KH are kind of the same thing) has movies and characters you relate to, like I love the movie Pirates of the Caribbean and it was really cool to be able to be in the movie with all the characters.

Well I myself am a RPG fan, but I think its different because its more easy and straitforword that other rpgs. I personaly think it was more fun because of the large varity of chars and the storyline was one of the best ever.

Proably due to the fact that it is in real time and more action oriented. It's basically a button masher.
