Oh ya, the ram upgrade would be a plus but you can also download and install a little piece of software that will help you alot . Its called FreeRam XP Pro and you can download it here. "PEACE" http://www.download.com/3000-2086-10070530.html

These guys are good lol... First try this if you are useing XP

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD/OptimizeXP.html
follow the instructions. Link the to Black Viper this shows what sys programs can be switched from auto start to manual and in some cases what can be removed. Once done and still a little slow go to device manager and shut down any owner programs you don't need, go to control panel and internet options and clean temp fil;e. I run same amount of ram you do so I do this when playing high end games like EQ 2.. If you haven't done so run your disk cleaner and defag programs. I run the following programs couple times aweek... Adware SE... Spybot.. MS malware remover tool and defender.
Too much you say ? just think of the computer as a messey teenage and the HD as their bedroom. Everything get dropped all over the place nor order. Same with your hard drive info get stuck in any old free spot. Malware, adware, trojons are the same they eat up ram do bad things so you clean house every week .. Most users don't think about these things untill there is a problem.

What speed net you on? and yes ram will make a large difference. I'm on 256KB net its slow and my MS is usually around 600 due to my geographical location. I also used to lag when flying and when in city although since i upgraded from 512 to 1GB ram i haven't had any real lag since it was a major improvement.

Try your ram it sure helped me.

The more Ram the merrier, but WoW is all jacked up with their slow @ss server speeds, are you sure its your computer and not slow @ss WoW? I run a 2GB Ram on my computer with a Dual Core AMD 2.0GHZ processor and the same video card and WoW is always running slow, but Scarface and other games that require much more than WoW runs smooth and perfect.
