One of the best teenage romance books I've read this year is called Twilight by Stephanie Meyer with it's sequal New Moon. They are beautifully written. I also like Love Come Softly by J. Oke, in fact all of her books are romance that are age appropriate for teenagers. The Chronicles or Narnia series by C. Lewis are great also. read the whole thing, not just The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. Other great authors to look up are F. Rivers, G. Morris, and L. Chaiken.

I may have a combination of Fantasy and Romance there for you: "The Black Magician Trilogy" by Trudi Canavan. It is set in a world where the use of Magic is highly privileged and only for the rich. Sonea, a 14-year old slum girl, gets really upset about the magicians treatment of her family and all the other poor people in the city that she hurls a stone at one of the magicians. Nobody is more surprised than her when the stone passes through the magical barrier protecting him in a flash of light and knocks the magician out cold...

for fantasy I suggest anything by C.S. Lewis or J.R.R. Tolkien. Their books appeal to anyone age 11 and up.
For teen romance, I recommend
Fifteen by Beverly Cleary
A Bride for Donnigan by J.Oke
Going on Sixteen by Betty Cavanna
Hail, Hail Camp Timberwood by Ellen Conford
I'll Be Seeing You by Lurlene McDaniel
A Walk to Remember by N. Sparks
Emily Ever After by Ann Dayton
A Groom Worth Waiting For (a love inspired novel)
The Locket by R.P.Evans
Not all of these are true romances, some just have a bit of romance in them.

It is a romance, mystery book. The begining (1-2 or 3 chapters begin slow but they are short. There are many twists and turns it is soo good
