i have but i was only 5 we had a tornado watch yesterday! i freaked out! but luckily it didnt come :) i was just wondering if u have ever been in one :)

I don't think I have been in one. Maybe when I was younger but everytime we get a tornado warning, they always say that the tornado turned around or hit another area. Hope I'll never be in one though.

When i was 14. We ran to the basement and felt the whole house shake. It really did sound like a train. The books and stuff on the built in bookcase were all on the floor. It touched down in the yard next door and tore off their garage. One of the scariest, freakiest things I've ever experienced.

Never a tornado or hurricane, but I have been in 2 big earthquakes..I'll take them anytime as you don't know when they are coming and by the time your brain registers what it is, it is over..the ground sort of rolls.

YES, luckily it was just a minor one that uprooted a lot of trees. my daughter and I hid in the basement until it was over.
It actually does sound like a freight train is rolling through the back yard!

One hit a house 1/4 mile from my house and passed by my house.
I had no damage, but the other house had the garage knocked down.

I'm the Texas Tornado!!!!!!!! ( That is my nickname ) and yes, I was about 12, it went through my parents shed.

wow that is freaky! I saw one from the back deck one time...I do not think it touched down but it was awesome but kinda scary!

i drive a truck and i had three of them all around me...i thought my truck was gonna get sucked up or flip over..it was really wild...wish i had a video cam..it was a blast...but i love storms...
