This has nothing about the right or wrong of ordering his execution. Just a feeling of sympathy for another human being even though he may of not gave the same sentiments for others who died because of him.

Saddam's being dead doesn't grant him any sympathy from me;if he didn't have sympathy for those that he had killed,what makes you think anyone is going to feel bad for him?He brought this on himself and he should have thought about that before taking the lives of innocent people.

That's a hard question; really; on one hand, he killed a lot of innocent people and folks he felt opposed to him; I will never forget when he took office, he had the folks that were not on his side executed that same day; That is hard; then he raised his children in the same ugly manner and look what happened to them?
But on the other hand, a life was lost today. Personally, I don't blame him for this war in Iraq; but he was the scapegoat in it; yet young men and women in uniform are going there each and every day with no end in sight; I work with a lady who just came from seeing her son in Ga before he left for his THIRD tour over there; he just came back from the second in September;

To get to it, yes; but there are a whole lot of folks I'm sure who don't.

None at all. I'm happy the SOB is dead. I was also happy to see that he looked a bit scared. I bet in a million years he NEVER thought he would be standing in the same spot where he had others executed...waiting to meet that same fate. I bet money he had an enema before hand AND was wearing a diaper.

He has got what he had done for others.We can't have sympathy for those who do not care for innocent lives. If he had shown some sign of recognition or compassion for those he slaughtered, then maybe. It's hard to show sympathy for someone who cared so little for others.

I can't have sympathy for those who care nothing for innocent lives. If he had shown some sign of recognition or compassion for those he slaughtered, then maybe. It's hard to show empathy for someone who cared so little for the value of human life.

Not really. But i do have sympathy for the US soldiers and there families who are going to be injured and even killed in retaliation attacks because of it. Sure, it was an iraqi trial, and an iraqi curt that executed him but you know darn well that the US will be blamed for it.

Hm.... Well good question, I only feel for him when it comes down to what he is about to face after death and judgement. I am not trying to sound like a human prodigy, but well, when you are exposed to seeing things like preminisions and also a vision of the lake of fire when youre disobedient, ESPECIALLY THE LAKE OF FIRE! You kinda say to yourself, "you wouldnt want your WORST of the WORST enemies to go there, but some things are destiny ,we all have choices to do right or wrong.
So I can say with visual experience I hate it for him. Cause once youre dumped there after you go to hell. well I hate it for him.

Truth be known I don't have sympathy for him, I am sure he didn't have sympathy for any of his victims. But I do have sympathy for his family. Even with the most notorious of criminals they have family that loved them. THEY have my sympathy and prayers.

Yes, I feel so much sympathy for him. About as much sympathy as he felt for the thousands of Kurds he gassed to death.

The minute I find myself feeling one bit of sympathy for Saddam, I remind myself of the millions he killed over the years. Including, shredding people alive in a plastic shredder......
