Hi, Kandi. First of all stop getting reminded that you are old aged. Body is aged but the mind is still young. Keep the body fit, though not fit as fiddle. Preserve the mind clean and clear. Think about and do certain good things which you have not done so far. To achieve these things: 1. Do exercises regularly at regular time every day. 2. Eat little but healthy food. 3. Do not subject yourself to too many medications. 4. Think about certain things which are still remain unanswerable. 5. Help the people who are in need of your assistance depending upon your capabilities. 6. Read, if possible, good books that are thought-provoking and educative. 7. Try to spend as much time as possible in the company of children. 8. Travel to pilgrimage centres, which are calm and cool, would give some sort of solace. 9. Attempt to find out answers to 'where do we come from' and 'where do we go from here to'. 10. Retire to bed thanking the unseen POWER that made the day peaceful and tolerable for you. I feel these are enough to keep you engaged in the old age. May God, that unseen Power, bless you!

There are many things you can do to keep yourself active in old age. For instance:

1. Keep yourself healthy by joining activities which are gentle on your body. You can do tai chi and join aqua aerobics class (exercises done inside the pool). You can also socialize with your classmates since you have shared interests.

2. Keep connected to the next generation. Spend time with your grandchildren. Read stories to the kids. Share your wisdom.

3. Learn how to play chess or other games for mental stimulation. Take up a new hobby like painting. The painter Grandma Moses took up painting when she was older.
