Go to your local shops that sell video games eg. Game, Gamestation, Woolworths etc. and if they dont have them in order one for the next delivery. Its very popular so they will most definately have more orders in before the end of Jan.

Hiya,

there is no chance in my opinion to get a Wii soon in any retail store. As someone else mentioned somewhere all pre-orders will be fulfilled first. If any shop happens to get new stock imagine all the campers who'll sleep in front of the stores or the chaos and then within minutes all will be gone.

Another option - a very secure and reliable one which least know of actually - is to purchase a Nintendo Wii thru any trusted 3rd party seller directly at Amazon. They have good feedback, deliver on time, mostly are merchants themselves simply and Amazon operates as the platform, in fact the purchase is processed directly via Amazon as you would usually buy from them.

You might check it out at

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FNintendo-LU502934445-Wii%2Fdp%2FB0009VXBAQ%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fqid%3D1166291892%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dvideogames&tag=advertiwillbe-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

and then click on "See all buying options" at the right.

This is actually currently the best choice to get your hands on a Wii at all - without any hassles.

You might also try out ebay:

or Ebay express where only selected and trusted merchants are accepted:

http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=1931119&mpre=http%3A//search.express.ebay.com/__Video-Game-Systems_nintendo-wii_W0QQ_nkwZnintendoQ20wiiQQruZQQPlatform7397cc93ZNintendoWiif813746cQQ_fxdZ1

Hope that helps.

Best wishes
Mike

You can get a Nintendo Wii at http://urlx.org/directtrack.com/aec4a and all you have to do is fill out the survey. I got my nephew a nintendo wii from that site and all i had to do was enter in my email address. If you really want one you should check out the site and get one from there.

I'd keep to a reputable seller if on the web, large well known stores that have been around years as there are many scams being reported when it comes to the Wii. Possibly do a price comparison on one of the many price comparison sites.....Be aware of the 'scammers' and happy shopping

I would make friends with the manager at a Gamestop or Best Buy and have them let you know when their shipments come in. You can also ask ToysRUS, Walmart and Target when they get their shipments and plan to be there on that day because stores don't get very many of them at a time.

Check out Rayman's Raving Rabbids and Elebits! Lots of fun!

If you are near New York City, there is a Nintendo World store. I was there after Christmas and they told me they are getting in more in January.

Good luck!

Video games waste a lot of a kid's time. I would suggest going out and doing stuff with him. Or get him to make new friends to go do stuff with other than video games.
A few of my friends (college age) just sit around all day and play video games. You don't want your kid to grow up like that. I mean, video games are fun. But its more fun going out and exploring the world. I don't know, send him to Europe. I just spent 4 months in Europe and I had so much fun exploring places and meeting new people, although a big part of it was just drinking around with people at bars. The amount of money that he'll spend on video games will pay for a plane ticket.
