What did everyone think of the Dreamgirl Movie?

I just saw the movie Dreamgirl and I thought it was awsome. What did everyone else think?

I loved it and i hope Jennifer and Beyonce win themselves their golden globes. I thought it was a little long at first but then you realize that all the info needs to be included so that it makes since. But the one scene when Effie is being let go Hudson sings so amazingly people applauded after she finished. The whole movie was just breathtaking!

There was a lot of talent in it but I found it canned and stereotypical. Of course, I'm old enough to remember the old days. The film bit off more than it could chew and it couldn't decide what it was. Was it a musical?????

It lacked entertainment value and the plot didn't carry it. It was a tough time period to capture though. I appreciate the effort.

Eddie Murphy's performance was great but they did a poor job of writing the script for him.

i thought it was a realy good movie i wouldn't change a thing about it but suprisingly i expected a tad bit more out of it since everybody been talking about for so long

I thought that the vocals and over all story was superb, although the wigs, I could comment on differently. lol.

I wanted to see it but it didnt come to South Carolina. I would have to go to North Carolina to see it.
