What's up with Dc Comics making Lesbian Superheroes?

I mean It's disgusting so far they shown Lesbians kissing and in bed in comic books like The outsiders, and 2 Issues of 52 which has at least 3 characters in it that are Homos. What's up with making Batwoman a Lesbo too? Whatever happened to straight superheroe relationships like superman being with wonder woman before he married lois.

Well on the surface you could say DC is going with the times.

But also they want the publicity. It is worth it to them to take the risk for greater sales. They saw the sales spike and media attention garnered when Northstar came out in Alpha Flight in the 1990's.

Plus their mostly male readership might find the concept exciting (sorry to say but guys are attracted to attractive women kissing for the most part as is reflected in our media). It may be exploitive but it sells books.

Marvel has gay characters.
Image has gay characters.
Television has gay characters.
Reality has gay people in it as well.

Some readers want reality to mix with their fantasy reading.
Others like the stories to reflect their lives.

Your bigotry is showing when you use terms like "lesbo" and "homo". In the sixties there were letters to the editors to the two major publishers complaining that there were too many BLACK characters. the words "NI**ER" and "SP**K" were used to describe them.
My how we have evolved as a culture. In thirty years who will be the next group that we will grind under our heel and feel better by not having to look at?
