Do you think its ok to date even if you are not divorced? Meaning you and your spouse are seperated, and you are not getting back together. Do you think its ok to date or do you think you should wait until divorce?

I think it is o.k. to date before the divorce is finalized, however giving yourself time to heal before getting serious is always a good idea.

I'd say wait until the divorce. I think it is pretty embarrassing for a gentleman to tell his mom, friends etc., "my girlfriend is still married but separated from her husband". Go head, make it legal. Tell your friend to divorce the guy first and then start dating.

This is a discussion you should have with your soon to be ex spouse.
I think if both parties mutually agree that the marriage is over and there are steps being taken to get divorced then dating is acceptable.

Yes, it's OK to date.

Ideally you'd want the divorce finalised, but sometimes that takes longer than it should - especially if your ex-to-be isn't helping with the paperwork and/or divorce procedures. You just have to deal with the situation as best you can, and make sure you really are divorced before anything too serious happens (ie, another marriage).

As a consenting adult, just go with your conscience and ignore the peanut gallery trying to live your life for you...

I think it is OK to date as long as you are legally separated and just waiting for the divorce to finalize.

No way. I have been on both sides and someone always gets hurt. It really is best to wait until divorce is final or his divorce is final. Things can really get ugly and feelings can get hurt too easily.

I mean of course, if you plan to be legally divorced, but dont rub it in your spouses face or anything. Bt the nice thing would be not to let him find out until after divorce, but anyway go a head! :P

No it's not OK to date while you are still legally married. At least start the divorce proceedings if you are really serious that you won't reconcile.

definately wait till a divorce. u made a commitment to god and i am sure that somewhere in that commitment u wouldnt cheat. i think u should try to work it out with ur spouse, but if ur not going to u should definately wait b/c its still cheating. if that person u really like has any deciency they will understand ur situation and wait for you.
