When my son was almost 4 months old he was already eating a 8 ounce bottle in one feeding and now he is 8 mo. 25 lbs. The doctor just says he is a big boy but he does not look all over weight or nothing. You should ask your doctor if you could start your daughter on spoon feeding cereal.

My daughter just turned 4 months this week and eats about 7oz every 3 hours from 7am to 8 or 9pm then sleeps through the night. She is also a little porker. She is 18lbs already and 27 1/2 " long . I guess it all depends on your daughters schedule. Usually my daughter will stop drinking when she is full and if I take the bottle away too early and she is still hungry she crys. Just follow her signs as long as she is not losing weight.

I would say if she is wanting a bottle 5 times a day it would be an average of 170mL per feed and if she is drinking 6 times a day it would be 140mL average for each feed

Both of my son's doctor's (regular pediatrician and a GI (stomach) doctors) told us they should have 3 oz for each pound they weigh. i.e. 10 lb = 30 oz. This has worked out great and he is satisfied.

I know that the baby's doctor has told you all this, probably gave you all sort of books and charts to follow. You need to do what the doctor says to do, he knows your baby better than we do.
