Cars usually go on sale around the time the model year changes. For example, you'll usually find the biggest discounts in 2007 model cars around Sept 2007, which is about the time that the 2008 cars will come out.

Anything related to the Christmas holiday season is far cheaper after Christmas, including decorations, cards and wrapping paper.

Summer clothes get discounted in May/June; winter clothes get discounts in December/January.
