Dell Inspiron 1000 Battery?

I was wondering if anyone knew if the battery in the Dell Inspiron 1000 was recalled. I went to the Dell website and it said it wasn't, but it still gets very hot.

a lot of batteries were recalled in the last year because they were getting so hot that they litterally melted the computer. But dont freak right away. Laptop generally get hot and tend to over heat. Unless you see it melting or can feel extreme heat just from the keyboard you should contact where you bought the computer.
