It is so emotional and if you are alone on this night it is so miserable. Anything going on in Berkshire for older singles?

I was alone last year in a Foreign land but I had a dog for company and that helped a lot.
After all what is Jan 1st? It's only the beginning of 2007. Big Deal eh?

I prefer New Year's Eve to Christmas as convention and obligation tend to determine what you do at Christmas while there is more choice at New Year.
In the past, if I found myself without arrangements on NYE, I preferred staying at home to the artificial atmosphere of an unacquainted singles gathering.
I hope you have a good New Year even if NYE is not all you would like it to be.

to me its just another day..i used to celebrate it when i was younger...you know..go out get drunk...dance ect...now over the last 10 yrs..i been there done it sort of thing...so i just stay at home and probably have one beer if any...its just another day..and a new year....i dont know about berkshire and where to go..i live in florida...if you cant find anywhere to go for older singles...what about your family..or just get onlie in a chat room..or even yahoo answers..thats probably where i will be..lol....happy new year to you...whatever you choose to do anyhow

It is just another evening in my book I have three kids and dont ever go out so my husband and I are usually in bed by 9pm

sometimes i hate it cos we don't go anywhere cos most people go to diff places etc. but this year im going out with my sister and me family.... theres rsvp for singles in australia tho its on this evening..lol....have a good one happy new year

i hate it too, its boring, just another excuse to get pissed as a fart and act stupid, im staying in, with my family, might have a few drinks, and see in the new year, but thats about it!
