Yes you can play DVDs on your computer if you have a DVD drive. Yes you can also transfer a DVD movie to your ipod but you need to have a video converting software. An example of the video conerting software is AMADIS DVD to IPOD converter. I hope this answers your question.

YES, you can play dvds on your computer. I really don't know about the ipod thing though, sorry. But I'm sure maybe you could try to "rip" it off the cd onto itunes and load it from there?

Unfortunatly you need to purchase a program that will convert the files to mp4 format
