Yes, two times.
First time, I was home and woke up at 4am for a glass of milk. The basement door (which leads off the kitchen) was open, and I heard something say my father's name in a very slow, spooky manner. No one else was awake in the house. I ran like hell back to my room.
Second time, I did see a ghost. I was in South Korea during Chuseok (a Thanksgiving sort of deal). Apparently the families are supposed to leave food outside the home main door for the ghosts of their ancestors. But, I was renting this place and only I was living there.
I was sleeping in the bedroom, when I felt someone grab by right arm, just around the wrist around 3am. I woke up and saw (actually SAW) a man wearing a checkered long sleeve shirt, dark pants, although his face was obscurred. I screamed as he was still holding my arm, he disappeared, and my arm dropped to the bed.
I got up, turned on all the lights in the apt, checked all the windows and doors, and didn't find or see anyone. That is when I heard someone in the hallway of the apt buliding say "what is that thing?" so obviously the ghost had to be out in the hallway.
I didn't sleep for the rest of the night. I was later told that when Korean families move, they are supposed to perform a ritual to inform the ancentors of the move, but in this case, they had not. So the ghost had come looking for the food offerings, didn't see any, and was angry so it had come in to demand food.
From them on, in that apartment I kept a line of salt along the main apt door. I move out of that apartment before the following year's Chuseok.

I was once sleeping and I saw the closet door open. It slowly opened to reveal a deranged demon who was staring at me with its red and glowing eyes. As the demon began to breach the doorway, I started growling at it. I did this to prove my dominance over the weaker creature. Eventually my growls grew in volume, so greatly that I woke myself from the sheer intensity my grumbling. This is not some spooky ghost story, but it seems better to than some Casper wuss that says boo.

no.. but i have heard some scary storys. like my dad had one. he was doing work in a really old building that wasnt really open to the public yet. well once it was closing time the alarm went off and one of the phones in the elevator had a voice in the other end with a person saying help im stuck... well when the police came.. the building was clear and the phone was off the hook... the only thing that seemed really really weird about it was. the phones in the elevator werent working yet. they needed to be wired. so non of the phones were supposed to work... creepy huh?

Yes, I have seen a ghost.
I have seen and dealt with too many different ghosts that it will be hard to describe because each situation is different and every ghost has its own personality.

Yes, I have seen ghosts.
We (DH&I) had just moved into our first home. We were doing some remodeling and I kept seeing a movement, down the hallway.
Later, as we were getting ready for bed, a little man appeared in the room. As soon as I moved, he vanished. I asked DH if he saw the man and he looked at me like I was crazy. He told me, I was over tired and to go to sleep.
A couple of days later, our neighbors came over to introduce themselves and we got to talking about our house. I asked who had lived there, before us and he told me about an older couple.
He said the man had cancer and died in the bedroom. He, later, showed me pics of the couple and the man was the one I saw in the hallway!

I believe that I have seen a ghost.... but, nothing in particular happened. Sorry, that is no help to you.

yeahhhh! it was funny. not scarey.
we went to a graveyard and on the other side of the feild
there was the weird smokey thing. then us dumb f**ks got closer to it and it like dissapeared. it was FREAKYY.
