I don't, but if you are having a hard time affording it try applying for W.I.C. If you don't (for some odd reason) qualify then talk to your Dr. they may know of another program to get it free or at a reduced rate.

Have you tried Soy formula? Unfortunately, for the "expensive" formulas like Nutramigen and Allimentum they dont make a store brand, yet. But I do know they have come out with powder versions of each of these, they last about 3 days worth of bottles. for about $31 you can get a canister. Or try a wholesale club and maybe they sell really large canisters of these that will last a week and be less expensive than the grocery store prices.
Anyway, the reason I ask if you have tried Soy is that the baby's tummy might be too sensitive for the milk based formulas, but might be ok with the soys. Sometimes I think the Drs just go for the more expensive formulas to not put the babies through a hard time changing a bunch of times, but sometimes, its worth trying a few different ones to get the "just right" formula.
Good luck!

I'm assuming your baby is colicky or has another issue since you are using Nutramigen. There really is no generic for this type of formula. Generic usually covers just the basic product. My girls' doctor always gave sample containers every time I went in which really helped out. Also, if you qualify for WIC, they will provide the formula if your doctor says this is the type of formula that your child needs.

I agree with Kate ^ try using soy formula before anything else it is easy on babies tummy, and it is cheaper
My question is why do they make it so expensive to feed a baby ??? yeahyeah probably cause they's rather women breast feed or whatever
of course wic is an option, but they don't switch at the formula will you usually have to be approved by the Dr
had to do it with my son
