An email address isn't specific to a geographical point. You can log into your email from anywhere.

Wanted to clarify a few points. The IP address can be used to determine country, state, city - but it depends on an independent database. It uses the IP address and then compares it to IP range that is reserved for your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Your ISP can track all emails, and match the originating IP address to your location and computer. They can further verify your computer by matching the MAC address of the ethernet card used.

If you have a message sent using that e-mail address, it will display the IP address of the computer it was sent from. You can use IP tracking software to find the location of the computer.

track by IP address that is your only option. You should contact police or missing persons unit for help. They are experts at this. But of course you have to have phone contact or be online with that person for an amount of time.

I'm afraid you can't, but police could if they investigated, find the location by tracing the i.p address and d.n.s if that person had logged on to their e-mail whilst 'missing'.

u cant an email address really means nothing when ur tracking some1...but if u had a ip address then u could no were they last logged in (country wise)
