My Monkey is always on bad behavior. He likes it when I spank him but then he spits on my face! How do I get him to be nice?

Quit spanking him. Would you be nice after getting spanked? Scold him for spitting at you, but don't hit him. Just use harsh words. I worked at a zoo for 17 years and got a lot of success by rewarding all the primates good behavior with peanut M & M's. Be glad they don't urinate on you!

Does everyone in the Pacific Northwest spank their monkeys? Here in the mid-west we know how to make our monkeys happy and satisfied. When we get through with them they just purrr.
