I have a bestfriend, and he goes by the name Q.B. We've known each other since 1st grade, and we are now high school sophomores. We dated when we were young, and became friends as we got older. We have had good times together. But now that I'm old enough to even know what a "boyfriend" is... I feel like hes my other half. With out him I feel incomplete sometimes, and honestly I Love him. Its not like puppy love, this is a person I grew up with, dig up nose with, and just had fun. He knows how I feel. And I think GOD put him in my life for a reason. Do you think we'll one day get back together? What are your thoughts. I NEED ADVICE!

You might get back together but don't put too much into the idea. I am not saying it won't happen, but be patient. It sounds like you have a great person in your life, whether he is a boyfriend or just a friend. You may love him and if he knows he may be confused about what he is feeling for you. Give it some time and it will work itself out. But just remember, if he is important and as you say, you will want him in your life whether you get back together as a boyfriend and girlfriend or not.

Well if it's meant to be... it will be... one way or another. You never know how things will turn out- time changes everything. You'll meet new people, he'll meet new people. Right now you think he is your everything, and he may be your everything... but then again you may find someone else who can give you something you never thought was possible. You're young, you have time to figure these things out. If you're "in love" with him... than it will all be worth it.. it always is. Follow your heart, but don't let him stop you from experiencing life and other relationships... i mean if you guys aren't dating right now... don't not date anyone else b/c of how you feel about him. Dating other people will just tell you for sure if you're feelings about him are real. I just got married in Sept. to my highschool sweetheart... we've been together since i was 14! It does work out, if it's meant to be. And if you think God has put him in your life for a reason... ask God to reveal to you what that reason is. Good Luck!!!

That's really sweet, but I wouldn't want to ruin such a beautiful friendship because you wanted to go further. If he knows how you feel, then why aren't you two together now? Maybe he doesn't feel the same way. Did he push you away? How does he really feel? How long have you two not talked? All these things come in to factor you'll be together- as friends or as a couple. Take things one at a time. Of youre not talking because of this, then maybe he needs time to get over that "shock". But if you've been friends for that long, then he'll come around again. Good Luck!

You said in your "scenario" that he knows that you feel this way about him? (This way meaning that you LOVE him in a boyfriend way?) I guess there's not really much you can do...you don't want to push him or peer pressure him. Do you still hang out together all the time? You should ask him if he believes in soul mates and discuss maybe how he feels about your relationship? Tell him that you feel that he has been put in your life for a reason and that you do feel this way but you don't want to ruin your friendship by pressuring him too much. Ask if he feels the same way about you. Tell him that you don't want to scare him but you think you LOVE him, as in he is your other half and you feel incomplete without him. Meanwhile..don't seem too easy to get? Guys kind of like a chase? I don't know, this scenario seems like you're a little vulnerable and desperate. Just..tone it down a notch and play it kind of cool?

Yes, you definitely will! There are alot of relationships that have started out that way, where you meet each other while you are young, are friends, and then later fall in love. I think that God sometimes puts a soul-mate in your life early on to give you an extra boost of opportunity to find each other. Good luck and congratulations!

Life is strange, we don't reflect while we're living it.We thrive on memories in the September of our years.
The truth of the matter is, male and female grow apart from age 18 and become other things.
He is attracted to the unknown and has to sew his oats.
From what you've said , he will never forget you.
Set him free , if he returns on his own, welcome him warmly.
The other factor is timing. It is unusual for two old friends to be free at the same time.
If you are , show him that you miss him, this will give him courage to pursue you.
Good luck
